지역사회와 인구집단의 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 생물다양성 캠페인을 추진합니다.
지역사회가 직접 참여할 수 있는 ‘생태적 기능을 증진하는 녹지 공간’의 구체적인 가이드라인과 실행 방안을 제시하여
실질적인 생물다양성 증진을 도모합니다.
이러한 노력을 통해 지역사회의 생태 감수성을 향상시키고 녹지 질 개선을 위한 지속 가능한 환경 조성에 기여합니다.

도시에 살고 있는 작은 생물들에게 이곳은 과연 안전할까요?
우리 곁에는 산과 들판에 자라는 식물 사이를 누비며, 자연 생태계를 보전하는 '수분매개자(Polinator)'가 살고 있습니다. 수분매개자란 꽃의 꽃가루를 수술에서 암술로 옮기는 수분 과정에 중요한 도움을 주는 생물체를 의미합니다. 야생벌, 나비, 나방, 파리, 새 등 대부분 곤충이지만, 새와 같은 조류와 박쥐와 작은 포유류까지도 수분매개자의 역할을 하고 있습니다.
지구 상에 있는 모든 식물의 75 ~ 95%가 수분매개자를 필요로 합니다. 수분 매개자의 활동으로 식물은 열매를 맺고 번식하며, 야생 곤충과 동물의 먹이가 되어 생태계를 이롭게 만듭니다. 생물 집단과 환경으로 구성된 자연 생태계에 비해 인간과 건물, 인공 구조물과 같은 구성 요소가 가득한 도시 생태계에 서식하는 수분매개자의 삶은 녹록지 않습니다.
급격한 기후변화와 도시화에 따른 서식지 파괴와 감소로 인해, 도시의 수분매개자는 생명을 위협 받고 있습니다.
기후 위기 문제를 해결하는 데 필요한 생물다양성 증진을 위해 도시의 수분매개자들이 건강하게 살아갈 수 있도록 서식처의 질을 높이고, 도시 곳곳의 생태적 가치를 높이기 위한 노력이 필요합니다.
서울그린트러스트는 도시의 생물다양성을 증진하기 위한 프로젝트로, 생태적 관리 측면에서 개선이 필요한 공원을 발굴하여 수분매개자를 위한 안전한 서식처, '비밀정원(Bee-meal Garden)'을 만들어 나가고자 합니다.

- 기업과 시민이 '비밀친구'로 참여하여 시민과 기업, 기관이 함께 조성부터 관리까지 이어가는 민관거버넌스형 생태 관리 모델 운영
